Glenstar Marine Limited (GML) is a specialist marine services company providing Ship-to-Ship (STS) transfers, tandem mooring, ship terminal operations, offtake operations, mooring master hire and marine consultancy services across Nigerian and West African waters. Recognising the quality-critical, safety-critical and environmentally sensitive nature of our operations, Top Management hereby establishes this Integrated Management System Policy, binding all persons working under GML's control to the following commitments:
1. Consistently meet and strive to exceed customer requirements and expectations through the delivery of reliable, competent and safe marine services, maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction, timely communication and continual service improvement.
2. Establish, implement and maintain measurable QHSE objectives and targets at all relevant functions; monitor performance through audits, reviews and leading/lagging indicators; and drive continual improvement of the Integrated Management System and our operational performance.
3. Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory, contractual and voluntary obligations — including MARPOL Annexes I–VI, SOLAS, MLC 2006, COLREGS, ISM Code, NIMASA, NUPRC, NESREA and NOSDRA requirements — and proactively monitor changes in compliance requirements.
4. Provide safe, healthy and fit-for-purpose working conditions for all employees, mooring masters, marine pilots and contractors engaged in STS, tandem mooring, offtake and terminal operations, preventing work-related injury, ill health and occupational disease.
5. Eliminate hazards and reduce Occupational Health and Safety (OH & S) risks through systematic hazard identification, risk assessment and the application of the hierarchy of controls — prioritising elimination and engineering controls before administrative measures and PPE.
6. Protect the marine environment by preventing oil spills, controlling vessel emissions and discharges, managing waste in accordance with MARPOL, and applying a life-cycle perspective to minimise the environmental impact of our operations from planning through to end-of-life.
7. Prevent man-overboard, vessel collision, fire, explosion and pollution incidents through rigorous pre-operation planning, tested emergency preparedness and response arrangements, and a culture of transparent and immediate incident reporting and investigation.
8. Consult, engage and ensure the active participation of all workers and their representatives in hazard identification, risk assessment, environmental management, incident investigation and decisions that affect their safety, health and working conditions.
9. Provide and maintain the competent personnel, certified equipment, infrastructure, technology and financial resources necessary to implement, sustain and continually improve the Integrated Management System and to deliver our services safely, reliably and responsibly.

Glenstar Marine Limited recognizes the critical importance of conducting safe operations, with weather monitoring being a key factor in ensuring the safety of our STS operations.
Adverse weather conditions can impact the performance of equipment such as rigging of fenders, cranes, mechanical handling systems, supply voyages, loading, and back-loading, all of which can be limited by deteriorating weather conditions.
We understand that the safe sailing of any vessel depends on reasonable weather conditions, the nature of the work, and the experience of the Vessel Operator in Charge. Our Weather Forecast Policy and algorithm are designed to ensure strict adherence to safe weather conditions, reinforcing our commitment to safe and efficient operations.
